After 25,000 miles of riding together over 5 years and endless adventures through all kinds of weather, my 1st big bike was finally sold 5 weeks ago!
After an epic summer of riding, I’m very pleased to have won 1st place in the 1st category of the Female Riders UK Miles Quest. Clocking up 2897 miles this summer on my beautiful Yamaha Fazer which I have recently sold (keep an eye out for my ‘Going All in’ post coming soon)
It was three years ago today that Karen and Robin opened the doors to their delightful motorbike pit stop Chequered Flag Cafe just off the A38 near Liskeard, proudly flying the flag for Cornwall biking.
My bike had finally had all it’s paint work and damage repaired (See Part 1 and Part 2) after falling victim to storms some years ago and she was beginning to look awesome again.
